Massive Struggle to be Organized on Employment in Bihar: AISA-RYA

AISA-RYA held a joint executive meeting on 4 February at the CPIML legislative party office in Chhajjubagh, Patna. The recent successful Bihar Bandh on the demabds of RRB-NTPC aspirants was reviewed at the meeting and further mobilization of students and youth on the employment issue was discussed.

AISA General Secretary and Paliganj MLA Sandeep Saurabh said that we must link together all aspirants who have been victims of various recruitment scams and build a big front for justice for them.

‘UP Mange Rozgar Abhiyan’ Releases Right to Employment Manifesto

Students and youth under the UP Mange Rozgar (UP Demands Employment) campaign have over the past 6 months organized Right to Employment conferences, Yatras and mass signature campaigns in dozens of Districts in Uttar Pradesh including Lucknow, Allahabad, Banaras, Mau, Sitapur and Gorakhpur. Through a Right to Employment march on 2 December in front of the Lucknow Vidhan Sabha they strongly put forth their demand that the government should without delay fill the 25 lakh government posts lying vacant in Uttar Pradesh.

Right to Employment Conference in Lucknow


Chhatra Yuva Rozgar Adhikar Morcha, a joint front comprising more than 10 student-youth organizations organized a Right to Employment conference in Lucknow on 23 September 2021. This joint front is formed to put up an effective fight against unemployment and to demand dignified employment. The conference pledged to fight against the anti-student/youth and anti-social justice policies of the present government.

CPIML Delegation Meets Education Minister on Issue of Fraudulent STET-2019 Results


A CPIML delegation led by MLAs Manoj Manzil and Sandeep Saurav met the Bihar Education Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary on the issue of fraudulent STET-2019 results.

The Minister acknowledged that there are errors in the result and said that all the students who have qualified will be given appointment letters. The note 'Not qualified in Merit List' in some students' results is wrong; soon the appointing unit will prepare a merit list, for which the Education Minister will issue a letter.

Lucknow: Lathi Charge and Arrests of Youth and Students Demanding Reservation


Students and youth protested in front of Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya’s residence at 30 June in accordance with the program previously announced against the failure to implement reservation properly in the 69000 teachers’ recruitment in Uttar Pradesh. The police lathi charged the peacefully protesting youth and arrested many students who were later released at the Eco Garden.

Recruitment and Justice Convening Committee formed in Patna

 

CPIML MLAs Sandeep Saurabh, Manoj Manzil and Ajit Kushwaha informed on 17 March that the Bahali Nyay convening committee has been formed to bring candidates of various exams together on a single platform to highlight the recruitment crisis and young people's demands. A state level convention will be organized in Patna and a booklet will be brought out to expose the irregularities in competitive exams.
