Chhatra Yuva Rozgar Adhikar Morcha, a joint front comprising more than 10 student-youth organizations organized a Right to Employment conference in Lucknow on 23 September 2021. This joint front is formed to put up an effective fight against unemployment and to demand dignified employment. The conference pledged to fight against the anti-student/youth and anti-social justice policies of the present government.
It is noteworthy that this conference was organized at a time when the current Uttar Pradesh BJP government and the Central BJP government had made tall promises of providing 4 lakh and 70 lakh jobs respectively, and both have failed miserably, having the worst record in employment generation. They are remarkable for murder of social justice, corruption in recruitments, and exam paper leaks. The 69000 teacher-recruitment scam is a living example of this. Privatization is playing havoc with social justice, and whatever is remaining is being throttled by the Yogi government's corruption and scams.
The conference was addressed by RYA National President and Bihar MLA Manoj Manzil, senior Hindi critic Virendra Yadav, retired IAS officer Surya Pratap Singh, All India Women's Congress national coordinator Sadaf Zafar, JNUSU Secretary Satish Chandra Yadav, AAP Education Cell President Prof Dev Narayan Singh Yadav, leader of the movement against the 69000-teacher recruitment scam Vijay Yadav, SP leader Kamlesh Bharti, RLD youth leader Ambuj Patel, Railway Apprentice movement leader Ashish Mishra, UPSSSC movement leader Toofan Singh, Agriculture Students Union leader Saurabh Saujanya, Higher Secondary and Middle School services leader Anurag Verma and Yuva Halla Bol leader Divyendu. The seminar was conducted by Chhatra Yuva Rozgar Adhikar Manch convener Sunil Maurya and Ayush Shrivastava proposed a vote of thanks.
Many leaders and activists from student-youth organizations were present as special guests, including former JNUSU President N Sai Balaji and Jan Sanskriti Manch General Secretary Manoj Singh.
