Protest in Darbhanga against BJP Legislator’s Criminal Intimidation inside a Polling Booth

A BJP MLA threatened muslim women voters inside a polling booth on the day of the poll for the parliamentary elections and tried to instigate communal tension. The said legislator from Jale in Darbhanga illegally entered inside a polling booth in Devra Bandhauli and misbehaved with women voters. He also forced women to remove their hijab. CPIML Legislative party leader in Bihar Mahboob Alam has said that there was a plan to instigate communal tension in connivance with the police.

Yogi’s Bulldozer Must be Stopped in Akbarnagar, Lucknow

The CPIML condemned the UP government's drive to build a river front on the Kukrail river in Lucknow's Akbar Nagar in which 1,100 houses have been demolished with bulldozers in the name of beautification. State party secretary Sudhakar Yadav said that bulldozer raj continues in the state even after the Lok Sabha election which has given a mandate against the Yogi government’s bulldozer raj. It was the defeat in Uttar Pradesh due to which the BJP fell short of a full majority at the Centre.

Chhattisgarh Mob Lynching: CPIML Demands Speedy Justice and Compensation for the Victims

On the night of June 6, two people, Tahseen Qureshi and Chand Mian were killed and another person was seriously injured in an incident of by mob lynching of cattle traders in Aarang tehsil of Chhattisgarh’s Raipur district.

Condemning the increasing violence and attempts towards communal polarisation in the state, the CPI(ML) said that ever since the BJP government has come to power in Chhattisgarh the hands of criminal and right-wing goons has been strengthened.

End Israel's Genocidal War against Palestinians in Gaza!

Judicial Inquiry Demanded into the Encounter Killing of Ten Adivasi Villagers in Bijapur

Representatives of many political parties and organisations in Chhattisgarh have demanded judicial inquiry into the alleged encounter of 10 tribal villagers in Pedia village of Bijapur. The incident took place on 17 May where security forces claimed to have killed 12 Maoists in an encounter. The family members of ten villagers who were killed protested before the Bijapur district magistrate office saying their family members had gone to the forest to collect tendu leaves but they were killed by the forces in the fake encounter.

In the battle for justice, Manoj Manzil gets bail - Stay order on conviction awaited

CPIML's former MLA from Agiaon, Comrade Manoj Manzil, was granted bail from Patna High Court on Monday. In the Badgaon case, the district court had convicted Comrade Manoj and 22 others to life imprisonment on February 13th and subsequently, he was disqualified as the MLA. An appeal against this order was made before the Patna High Court.
