On Quit India day (9 August), the farmers’ parliament (Kisan Sansad) held its 13th and concluding session – a session for women representatives alone – demanding that corporates quit agriculture and Modi quit the PM’s chair. The Kisan Sansad passed a unanimous resolution expressing no confidence in BJP led government.
On 29 July CPIML Bihar State Secretary Kunal released the provisional report of the party's investigation into deaths that occurred during Covid times. He said that the government is undercounting the number of deaths by at least 20 times which is a great injustice.
The CPIML legislative party has also submitted a copy of the report to the Bihar Assembly Speaker and demanded a discussion in the House.
All India Central Council of Trade Unions has launched a countrywide Campaign from 1 to 9 August (Quit India Movement Day) and hold protest demonstrations against Modi-Shah regime. This aims at resisting the attacks on Democracy, Wages, Employment and Rights of the working class. AICCTU General Secretary Rajiv Dimri has issued the following statement for the campaign.
Citizen activists came together on Sunday as part of the ‘Count Every Death’ Campaign to remember and document the experiences of families and individuals who lost their loved ones to the pandemic.
CPIML legislative party in-charge and Politburo member Rajaram Singh said on 13 May that our Party MLAs have sent recommendations for the remaining 1 crore MLA funds to be used for arrangement of necessary health equipment, but the concerned District administrations are very lax in this matter. During this crisis the administration should be working on a war footing. The old snail's pace will not suffice to tackle this pandemic.

Thousands of farmers and workers participated in the Kisan-Mazdoor Mahapanchayat organized at Gate Public Library in Patna on 18 March 2021 under the joint banners of CPIML, AIKM and AIARLA to demand repeal of the three farm laws, resolution against them to be passed in the Bihar Assembly, legal status for MSP, reinstatement of APMC Act, inclusion of landless and sharecropping farmers in PM Kisan Samman Yojana and other demands.
On the birth anniversary of great farmers’ leader Swami Sahajananda Saraswati who led the movement against British Company Raj and the zamindari system, a kisan march was organized in Patna on 11 March under the banners of CPIML and AIKM.
