A memorial meeting was organized on 6 February 2022 for former CPIML Bihar State Secretary and former Politburo member Comrade Pawan Sharma at the CPIML legislative party office in Patna. Among those who participated and shared reminiscences of Comrade Pawan Sharma's struggles were CPIML General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya, leaders from various Left parties, party activists, Conrade Pawan Sharma's family members and many intellectuals.

The 18th martyrdom day of Comrade Mahendra Singh was observed extensively across Jharkhand, with a pledge to strengthen Left unity and intensify people's struggles. Mahendra Singh's martyrdom day (16 January) is the party's Sankalp (Resolution) Diwas reiterating to carry forward the legacy of Bhagat Singh and Birsa Munda.

CPIML observed the 164th martyrdom day of Jharkhand's revolutionary freedom fighters Tikait Umrao Singh and Shaikh Bhikhari on 8 January 2022 at the martyr's memorial in the Ranchi District school. The program was attended by leaders abd activists including State Secretary Manoj Bhakt, State Committee member and District in-charge Mohan Datta, Nandita Bhattacharya, Akash Ranjan, Singhi Khalkho, Sudama Khalkho, AISA State President Sohail Ansari, Bhim Sahu, Babban Pandit and Eti Tirkey.

A Memorial pillar for commemorating the martyrs of the region’s revolutionary peasant movements was constructed in Jangaon district of Telangana by the party. The memorial was inaugurated on 29th of December. Party Leading team secretary of Telangana Com. Rajesh inaugurated the memorial. A Rally took place in Seetharampuram village of Jangaon district before the inauguration. Hundreds of locals and party sympathisers marched in the rally along with Party members and leaders.

CPIML organized a program in Motihari on the anniversary of Battakh Miyan under the '75 Years of Independence' people's campaign. He was the freedom fighter from Champaran who saved Gandhiji's life by foiling the indigo planter lobby's conspiracy to poison Gandhi to death during his historic 1917 Champaran visit.

Citizens Mourn Prof Daisy Narayan at Condolence Meeting

A condolence meeting was organized in memory of Prof Daisy Narayan by AISA, RYA, AIPF and AIPWA at the CPIML legislative office in Patna on 12 August. The meeting was attended by a large number of political-social activists as well as civil society of Patna.

The CPIML observed the 4th anniversary of the Umbha massacre in Sonbhadra on 17July 2021. Within 4 months of the Yogi regime coming into power, dominant sections perpetrated this massacre shooting dead 11 adivasi men and women for protesting against their ancestral farm land being forcibly snatched away.

Under the ‘Count Every Death’ campaign jointly organized by intellectuals and social activists across the country, CPIML activists in Patna and various other parts of Bihar on 13 June honoured the memory of all the people who died during the Covid period by lighting candles and remembering every death. This campaign, 'Remembering loved ones, Count every death, Share every sorrow' is being organized every Sunday across the country.

Frontline leader of the CPIML movement, former member of the Polit Bureau of CPI(ML), former Bihar State Secretary and popular Marxist teacher Comrade Ramjatan Sharma passed away at the Indira Gandhi Heart Institute in Patna on 6 June 2021 after a heart attack.
