Youth Protest in Allahabad against Corruption in Higher Education Commission

Applicants for posts in higher education department protested on 5 September against the rampant corruption in the Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Service Commission. A large number of people marched to the Commission offices and submitted a memorandum to the Governor via the Secretary of the Commission. The protest resonated with slogans demanding ending of corruption, high level enquiry into Advertisement No. 50, employment for youth, and accountability from the Yogi government.

All India Conference of Revolutionary Youth Association

The 7th All-India Conference of Revolutionary Youth Association began on 10-11 September at Medininagar of Jharkhand named Nilambar-Pitambar Nagar by the organisers.  The conference venue was renamed Nilambar-Pitambar Nagar to honour martyrs of 1857 revolt. The open session of the Conference was inaugurated by comrade Dipankar Bhattacharya and was also addressed by CPIML Politburo member Vinod Singh, former JNUSU President Sucheta De, AISA General Secretary Prasenjit Kumar, CPIML MLA in Bihar Ajit Singh Kushwaha and RYA’s Jharkhand leader Jayvir Hansda.

Protest at UGC against the discrepancies in UGC-NET Exams

The NTA has repeatedly failed at conducting national as well as state level examinations for UG, PG and research students. Their failures include delay in releasing exam schedules, admit cards and even in conducting examinations. With regard to the recent UGC-NET exam conducted by NTA, AISA and many other organisations listed the following concerns and demands for improving the examination process through a protest on 11 July held in front of the UGC headquarters in Delhi:

AISA holds Student Parliament in Delhi against National Education Policy 2020

On 31st May, the All India Students' Association held Student Parliament on Jantar Mantar against the National Education Policy 2020. Students from all over the country and more than 25 Universities joined the Student Parliament raising voice against FYUP, CUET, CBCS and the rampant politics of communal hate in the country by the ruling BJP-RSS.

The student community of Trivandrum Medical College gained a significant victory under the leadership of All India Students' Association (AISA) over the grave systemic injustice of the college towards its laboratory-based trainee students. At the peak of the pandemic period, the college withdrew the stipend facility of trainee students and exploited their free labour coupled with poor working conditions.
