The charter presented by CPIML in the 2020 Bihar Assembly polls is in continuity with demands raised in the course of long struggles by the people of Bihar. Our charter reflects Bihar’s aspirations and determination to struggle for change. We hope that a new Government will be elected in the 2020 polls, which will work in the direction of this change. The CPIML is committed to struggling for the implementation of this people’s manifesto for change.

CPIML Submits Memorandum to Election Commission over New Election Guidelines

Conveying serious disagreements over the new election guidelines issued by the EC, the CPIML has once again submitted a memorandum to the Election Commission. Politburo member Dhirendra Jha and senior leader KD Yadav met the Chief Election Officer on 26 August 2020 and conveyed to him each point of disagreement.

Responding to the joint Left call, CPIML leaders and cadres hoisted the flag at various places across the country on 15 August and pledged to protect the Constitution and strengthen freedom and democracy in the country.

5 August 2020 marked one year of the abrogation of Article 370, the dissolving of the state of Jammu and Kashmir, and the caging of the people of J&K.

CPIML General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya spoke to the cadres of Bihar on 18 July in an online address where he called upon the people of Bihar to unite against the callous and anti-people state government for the ensuing elections.

THE Working Committee of the All India Kisan Sangharsh Samanvay Samiti (AIKSCC) in their meeting on 29 June 2020 condemned the three ordinances against farmers and said that these ordinances only carry forward the policy of ‘Loot the farmers and benefit corporate houses’.

THE Gorakhpur community kitchen run by young people with help and contributions from the masses has completed 50 days of cooking meals and feeding the poor.
