Kisan Panchayat in Jalaun

 

A farmers-workers panchayat was organized on 5 March 2021 at Maheba Block in Jalaun District in Uttar Pradesh against the 3 anti-farmer laws. All India Kisan Mahasabha National Secretary and Kisan Sanyukta Morcha leader Purushottam Sharma declared at the Panchayat that the ongoing farmers' movement across the country would continue until the three black laws are repealed.

BJP-JDU’s Bihar Budget Disappointing and Anti-People: CPIML


CPIML.Bihar State Secretary Kunal and Legislative party leader Mahboob Alam said in a statement that the Budget presented by BJP-JDU on 22 February 2021 is disappointing and negative.

The leaders said in their joint statement that after Covid and lockdown while other countries are making deficit budgets, the Bihar government has a surplus budget. The 2021-22 budget estimate shows an anticipated income of Rs 218502.70 crores whereas the expenditure is 200 crores less than the income, i.e. Rs 218302.70.

Campaign: 'We the People of Patna are with Farmers'


All India People's Front organized a weeklong program 'We the People of Patna are with Farmers' on 19 January at the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk in Patna. The programme was concluded on 26 January at Digha Ghat in Patna.

The We the People of Patna with Farmers on the eve of Republic Day, on 25 January, was held at Danapur Station. Members of civil society attended in large numbers and appealed to people to raise their voice against the three black anti-farm laws.
