The student-youth Shiksha Rozgar Yatra for education and employment, from 7 February to 15 February 2021, continued with four separate teams who travelled across Bihar in four directions. After 15 February the RYA campaign will continue towards the Assembly gherao on 1 March on the issues of education and employment.
The first team campaigned in Shahbad, Saran, Tirhut, Western and Eastern Champaran. This team is led by Ajit Kushwaha, Shabir Kumar and Shivprakash Ranjan and other youth leaders. The second team covering the Mithila region including Muzaffarpur, Beguserai and Bhagalpur is led by Manoj Manzil, Sandeep Chaudhury, Kesari Yadav, Ranjit Ram, Manoj and Watan Kumar.
The Seemanchal region was covered by the third team led by Mokhtar, Satish Chandra Yadav, Kazim Irfani and Mukesh Prabhakar. The fourth team visited Magadh region Districts Patna, Arwal, Jehanabad, Gaya, Nalanda and Nawada was led by Sandeep Saurabh, Sudhir Kumar and others.
The leaders speaking during the Yatra said that students and youth will hold the BJP-JDU government to its promise of 19 lakh jobs and will not allow them to divert the issue through pseudo-nationalism and communal poison. The youth want 19 lakh permanent jobs and will not be cheated by rhetoric of self-employment. They said that the youth of Bihar will not tolerate destruction of education and health in the State. They also expressed full support for the ongoing farmers' struggle.
