On September 05, one slogan roared all over the North Campus of Delhi University — "FYUP Par Halla Bol"! More than 500 students joined in AISA's FYUP Par Halla Bol Rally demanding immediate roll back of the assaults of FYUP in Delhi University. Students roared slogans in colleges like CLC, KMC, Ramjas, Hindu and Faculty of Social Science declaring the fight against FYUP
At the public meeting at Arts Faculty, AISA activist, Aiyesha Ahmad Khan addressed the students, saying "we declare this fight to save our University and our future open. FYUP will be the clarion call of the DUSU elections 2023." Aditya, AISA DU Vice President spoke at the public meeting. "AISA has been the only organisation in battle against FYUP. We have taken upon ourselves the responsibility of fighting tooth and nail against this scheme of privatisation that is the FYUP. This DUSU will be made into a referendum on FYUP!"
Anjali, AISA activist in Miranda House said, "we are fighting for our future. These bogus courses and high fees has put our lives at stake. All of us must come together and resists the onslaught of FYUP-NEP". Anushka, a student of Law and AISA activist declared that AISA will continue the struggle against FYUP and contest DUSU 2023 Elections on the same issue!
AISA has submitted a memorandum to the Vice Chancellor of the University with the following demands:
• Stop dilution of our courses through SEC and VAC
• Roll back New Internal Assessment Scheme
• End Fee Hike
• Add English to Ability Enhancement Course (AEC) options
