Wrong to Slap Cases against TSAT Candidates: Mahboob Alam

CPIML Bihar Legislative Party leader Mahboob Alam has strongly condemned the slapping of cases against TSAT candidates who were agitating for declaration of exam results instead of cancellation of the exam. He said that Nitish Kumar is following in the footsteps of the BJP by slapping cases against students at the drop of a hat, and this is dictatorship.

BJP-supported goons perpetrated a potentially lethal attack on 6 CPIML activists including AISA State Vice President Kazim Irfani at about 9 pm on the night of 11 August 2020 at Maulanapur village in Balrampur Constituency of Katihar District. CPIML Bihar State Secretary Kunal condemned the attack in strong terms and demanded the immediate arrest of the perpetrators.

Students across many Districts in Uttar Pradesh protested to demand the cancellation of the entrance examination held for recruitment of primary teachers. After the announcement of the results most students feel that the paper had been leaked on a large scale.

Students protested with posters on 14 may and said while courts are closed due to the Lockdown, the government is pretending to quickly fulfill the recruitment of 69000 teachers.

ON 20 January, young people under the banner of ‘Young India against CAA-NRC-NPR’ (comprising over 100 youth organisations, student unions, student groups and civil society organisations in the country) marched at 50 centres all over India to publicly declare their intention to defend the Constitution, and urge the Supreme Court also to do so.

CPIML called for countrywide protests against attack and vandalism in JNU by masked ABVP goons in active collusion with Delhi Police, JNU administration and JNU Security. The JNU administration, as well as Delhi Police which is directly answerable to Home Minister Amit Shah, allowed the mob to run amok in JNU without any intervention. The Modi-Shah dispensation at the centre have continuously targeting JNU and other Universities since it has come to power.
