The CPIML Uttar Pradesh State unit on 15 May expressed grave concern over the gang war and 3 deaths inside Chitrakoot jail and said that the safety of jail inmates is the government's responsibility in which it has failed.

CPIML Bihar State Secretary Kunal on 16 May 2021 strongly condemned the arrest of popular CPIML leader from Bihata and Patna District Committee member Comrade Gopal Singh. He said that during this Covid pandemic while people are advising that prisoners should be released, there is no justification for the arrest of Comrade Gopal Singh.

CPIML Uttar Pradesh State unit said that the Modi government has left the people of India to die in the 2nd wave of Covid. The large scale deaths due to lack of medical facilities is nothing short of a massacre, and the government is responsible for this massacre.

The results of the Assembly Elections of five states has come in the midst of the deadly Covid-19 crisis in India, created by the Modi regime.

CPIML Bihar State Secretary Kunal said on 19 April that the privatization of all three crematoriums in Patna is extremely condemnable and demanded the immediate repeal of this decision.

He said that if there are any problems in running the crematoriums, the answer is to resolve the problems and not to privatize the crematoriums. This move has to be seen as part of the entire series of privatization attempts by the Central and State governments which is sheer injustice in these Covid crisis times.

We condemn the killings of 22 Jawans of central paramilitary forces in Sukma, in the Bijapur district (Bastar region) of Chhattisgarh, and express our deepest condolences for the families of the slain jawans. Reports indicate that 15 Maoists who were involved in the attack have also been killed.

Mamata Banerjee's barbs against the Adhikari family have clearly given rise to several questions and a lot of speculation.

If the Adhikaris were complicit in the Nandigram massacre and Mamata knew it all these years she can't just talk about it now in the polls when the Adhikaris have switched sides and gone over to the BJP. She has a lot more to explain and she cannot evade it with her 'fair enough' comment.
