Carry Forward Phule's Revolutionary Legacy and Resolve to Strengthen the Struggle for Social Justice

On the 197th birth anniversary of Jyotirao Phule, the warrior of the fight for social equality in India, CPIML organized programs across the state with the resolve to save the Constitution and democracy. On April 11, garlands were laid on the Phule’s statue at Daroga Rai Path in Patna. Paying tributes to Phule, CPIML Politburo member Dhirendra Jha said that at a time when the constitutional foundation of the Indian Republic is under serious attack and an environment is being created for the revival of oppressive feudal and patriarchal values, Phule's message is even more relevant and encouraging. We need to draw strength and inspiration from Phule's revolutionary legacy.

He also said that today we are in the midst of the crucial Lok Sabha elections, there will be no greater tribute to Jyotiba Phule other than defeating BJP and it’s ideology of communal hatred, patriarchy and Brahminical feudalism.
