The CPIML has condemned the police atrocities let loose on BSSC aspirants in Patna on 4 January when they were protesting paper leak reports during entrance examination. This was not the first time when papers were leaked, on the contrary almost every examination held by the government agencies for the purpose of filling vacancies has seen paper lead reports.
The party has demanded to cancel this exam and to hold it soon in a transparent manner. CPIML also expects from the Bihar administration to listen to the aspirants compassionately instead of oppressive actions.
CPIML Bihar secretary Kunal has said in a statement that such type of exam paper leaks have become a phenomenon which are playing with the future of students and youth of the state. Besides paper leaks, scams, lack of transparency and corruption are also common. Moreover, sometimes even the state government behaves very erratically by changing the rules or regulations in between when the whole process of competitive examinations is already started or under way. Many time matters concerning appointments and exams went to the courts and judicial delays withheld the future of the youth for years which is also not in the interest of the aspirants.
The seventh phase of teachers’ appointments has not yet been started despite repeated appeals by the CPIML, said comrade Kunal. He said it is beyond anybody’s comprehension why teachers’ appointments are not taking place speedily.
