CPIML Odisha State Conference

CPIML held its Odisha conference in Gunupur in Rayagada district on 12-13 December. More than 200 elected delegates from various districts attended the conference. The delegates participated in discussions on the report presented by the outgoing state committee followed by the election of a new state committee which in turn reelected comrade Yudhisthir Mahapatra as state secretary.

The conference resolved to fight communal fascism and BJP government's pro-corporate anti-people agenda and conspiracy to create a Hindu nation. The delegates resolved to resist the threat to the country of fascist forces trying to take over various aspects of social and political life of the country and continued attacks on the basic premises of democracy and the Constitution. They condemned the incompetence of the Odisha state BJD government which has been an ally of BJP and is implementing various anti-people schemes. The conference reiterated the need to unify all left and democratic forces against the fascist onslaught. The conference also resolved to work hard for making the 11th Party Congress of CPIML to be held in Patna on 15-20 February 2023 a great success.
