An AISA activist Kaleeshwaran contested from ward number 77 in Madurai Corporation election aiming to highlight the issues adversely affecting common people like smart city, a comprehensive sanitation program centred around the welfare of sanitation workers and the general public, making public educational institutions to implement the fee structure according to government guidelines, to improve the quality of life, more power to the Local Government Bodies and corruption etc.
The election campaign was conducted by AISA members with more than 100 students and youth participated in the campaign which reached every part of the constituency and evoked a good response.
