A mass rally was organized on Kranti Diwas 9 August at Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan from Shikshak Bhawan to the District Collectorate. Attended by large numbers of farmers and workers from farmers' organizations under the Sanyukta Kisan Morcha as well as trade union organizations including All India Kisan Sabha, All India Kisan Mahasabha, Rajasthan Kisan Sabha, Jai Kisan Andolan, Shekhawati Kisan Manch, Bharatiya Kisan Union, CITU, AICCTU, AITUC, SFI, RYA and JYA, the rally resounded with slogans for repeal if the 3 black farm laws, guarantee of MSP, and repeal of the 4 labour codes. The meeting at the Collectorate was addressed by leaders of all the organizations including Comrades Phulchand Dhewa, Ramchabdra Kulahari, Om Prakash Jharoda, Sumer Singh Budania, Indraj Singh Charavas, Kehar Singh Bakhtawarpura and Ravindra Payal. All the speakers pointed out the Modi government's insensitivity and cruelty to farmers by handing over farming to Adani and Ambani. They said that if the Modi government does not heed their demands, the struggle will continue till 2024.
