khudiram bose

AIPF, CPIML and MSS jointly commemorated martyrdom of Khudiram Bose who gave his life for the country's freedom and unity, and remembered renowned poet Rahat Indori who spoke out fearlessly against communal frenzy.

On 11 August tributes were paid at Albert Ekka Chowk in Ranchi with a minute's silence and placards with slogans given by them. The speakers on occasion said that the inflammatory program held at Parliament Street in Delhi on 8 August by communal fascist forces under the mendacious guise of 'Desh Jodo' (unite the country) will not strengthen, but weaken the country's freedom and unity. The Central government must ensure the arrest of such criminal goons. AIPF leader Kumar Varun said that reminisced about Rahat Indori's poems and quoted 'Sabhi ka khoon shamil hai is mitti mein, kisi ke baap ka Hindustan thodi hai'. He pointed out the duplicity of the Delhi police who put a strict limit of 200 for the farmers' movement but gave free license to an inflammatory mob of thousands. CPIML State Secretary Janardan Prasad said that the Central government is playing with communal fire for electoral gains. These goons shouting communal slogans calling for violence and massacre are a danger to democracy and the Constitution. Central Committee member Shubhendu Sen said that Khudiram Bose and Rahat Indori will remain our inspiration. The program was attended by a large number of leaders and activists including Sushanto Mukherjee, Bhuvaneshwar Kewat, Anil Anshuman, Nadeem Khan, Sohail Ansari, Akash Ranjan, Akhilesh Raj, Eti Tirkey and Afroze Ahmed.
