JAN Sanskriti Manch and Insaf Manch held out a protest march in Darbhanga on 5 July against the rising incidents of mob lynchings and condemned the culture of mob violence being encouraged by the government. The protest was held to demand proper action against the lynching of Tabrez Ansari and to condemn the increased attacks on minorities, dalits and women after the Modi 2.0 came back to power.
The protesters led by Neyaz Ahmad of Insaf Manch, Prof. Rambabu Arya of JSM and Abhishek Kumar of CPIML marched through the streets of Darbhanga and converged into a mass meeting at Polo Maidan. They condemned the Modi government in centre for attacking country’s plurality and syncretic culture, democracy and the Constitution.
