THE CPI(ML) and AIPF Ranchi City Committee jointly organized a protest at Albert Ekka Chowk against the violence against Hindi speaking workers in Gujarat and the Rafale scam. CPI(ML) and AIPF activists protested with placards saying, ‘End the Politics of Hate and Violence’, ‘Modi Government Answer to the Violence against Hindi Speaking Workers’, ‘Rafale Thieves Must Go’. The rally demanded guarantee of safety for migrant workers. AICCTU State General Secretary Shubhendu Sen, AIPF leader Basheer Ahmed, CPI(ML) District Secretary Bhuvaneshwar Kewat and others addressed the protest.
The CPI(ML) held an effigy burning of Prime Minister Modi at Jamua Chowk on 13 October 2018 to protest against the Rafale scam. PM Modi’s effigy was also burnt at a protest in Pipacho Bazaar, Jaynagar Block and slogans were raised against the corrupt Rafale-thief government and against the skyrocketing price rise.
