Uphold the Constitution, Spread the Vision of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity” – CPIML MP Raja Ram Singh

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of India, CPIML member of parliament Raja Ram Singh has said that the people of India need to stand together against increasing attacks on the constitutional rights of minorities, Dalits, tribals and marginalised sections of the country. This is an occasion to reiterate the pledge to reassert, reclaim and rebuild our republic on the ideals of our freedom fighters and architect of our constitution Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar.

The CPIML has launched a countrywide ‘Constitution Campaign’ to mark the 75th anniversary of the Constitution and the Republic from November 26, 75th Anniversary of the Adoption of the Constitution, to January 26, 75th Anniversary of the Foundation of the Republic. He appealed to all to organise gatherings in neighbourhoods and places of work to collectively read the Preamble of the Constitution and discuss its main features.

Through this campaign the CPIML calls upon all citizens to organise programmes and Erect Preamble Plaques in neighbourhoods, Organise Tricolour Marches, Take Collective Pledges to Uphold the Constitution, Organise Collective Reading of the Preamble, and, Spread the Constitutional Vision of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity.
