On July 3, INDIA bloc student organisations held a joint protest demonstration at Jantar Mantar. Organisations including AISA, NSUI, AISF, MSF, SFI among others joined the protest along with NEET and NET aspirants raising demand for immediate scrapping of NTA and the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan.
At the public meeting was chaired by JNUSU President Dhananjay, who on behalf of the 40 lakh students who have suffered, demanded immediate judicial probe into the paper leaks and an end to the trend of centralisation of exams. AISA Delhi State Secretary, comrade Neha said, "we will not let Dharmendra Pradhan rest quiet even for a moment. A man who has sacrificed the future of 40 lakh students must leave our education ministry." AISA General Secretary, comrade Prasenjeet said, "NTA is already under inquiry, then how can they announce the schedule of other exams? This corruption will only stop when NTA is gone!" Other speakers included SFI General Secretary Mayukh Biswas, AISF National President, Viraj Devang, MSF President Ahmed and leaders of Chhatra SP and Chhatra RJD.
Students in unison condemned the brutal detention that Delhi Police unleashed on the 7th Day of the Indefinite Sit In organised by AISA and other students organisations under the banner of INDIA against NTA.
NSUI National President Varun Chaudhary stated, "AISA has led an important fight of the Indefinite Sit in for 8 days. From today, all of us together will ponder on and take the movement further united!"
