CPIML Bihar State Secretary Kunal said in a Press statement on 12 July 2020 that feudal-criminals are dancing the dance of death and destruction across Bihar from Bhojpur to Siwan and are perpetrating lethal attacks on dalits and backward sections. During this Corona pandemic time when the common people are struggling to for life and livelihood, attacks by feudal criminals are consistently increasing. This is extremely perturbing. Instead of curbing such crimes, the Bihar government is busy with virtual rallies and digital campaigning. They are bothered neither about the exponentially spreading Corona nor about the attacks on dalits and the poor.

Meanwhile, CPIML politburo member and Siwan in-charge Dhirendra Jha has said that BJP-JDU-supported feudal forces are constantly and brutally attacking the poor in Siwan. The most recent attack was perpetrated in Asaon Thana where feudal forces attacked Kharadara Yadav and Dudahi Toli merely because the people of the Toli had put up a Yadav Toli board on the road. Dozens of people were injured in the feudal attack, and 5 people are undergoing treatment at the Sadar Hospital.

Dhirendra Jha further said that this attack was perpetrated by the BJP-supported Hindu Yuva Vahini. Former CPIML MLA Amarnath Yadav, MLA Satyadev Ram and local leaders went to the site of the attack, met the injured persons and demanded the immediate arrest of the attackers. The attackers shot Niranjan Yadav. Rahul Yadav, Kamlesh Yadav, Sachiv Yadav and Saheb Yadav have also been badly injured in the attack.

The goondaism of the Hindu Yuva Vahini was also seen at Mairwa where a befitting reply has been given with people’s protests.

Not long ago in Gadhani (Bhojpur) dominant goons from the Rajput caste entered the home of 50 year old Girali Prasad and beat him to death with rods and sticks. Girali Prasad was unable to repay a loan taken from the strongmen due to Corona and Lockdown.

Similarly, Comrade Guddu Paswan of Edaura village in Udwantnagar Block was killed on 11 July over the matter of a ceiling fazil land dispute. An FIR against Kamlesh Ojha has been registered in this matter. The dispute was long-standing but became bigger during the sowing (ropani) and Guddu Paswan was shot on 11 July. He was referred to PMCH by the Ara Sadar Hospital but his life could not be saved and he died due to excessive loss of blood. CPIML leaders went to the spot immediately on receiving the news and demanded the arrest of the killers.

CPIML demands that the Bihar government should stop boosting the confidence of feudal-criminals and guarantee the safety of dalits and the poor and their rights.
