Comrade Paras Singh Yadav

CPIML lost another comrade on 27 October in Bhojpur when Paras Singh Yadav was brutally killed by feudal criminals in Jantola village of Piro Block. He was trying to resolve a dispute about fishing rights of the common villagers on a pond when he was surrounded by goons who beat him up to death. Comrade Paras was a committed communist and old time member of the CPIML and much revered by the poor in the area. He became victim to the increased attacks by criminals post Modi 2.0 victory on activists fighting for the rights of the poor. 

Comrade Ramballav Prasad Singh

COMRADE Ramballav Prasad Singh passed away on 26 October 2019. He had been actively associated with the Communist movement since the 70s. After the bifurcation of CPI-CPM in 1963 he worked actively with the CPM. Influenced by the Naxalbari movement in 1967, he formed a student-intellectual organization associated with the Supoul Bhengad group. When he joined government services he played an active role in the workers’ movement along with Comrade Yogeshwar Gope.

Comrade Budhua Oraon

COMRADE Budhua Oraon, member of the CPIML's Ranchi district committee, passed away due to a heart attack on 21 October. He was just 52. Comrade Budhua Oraon joined CPIML in the early 1980s. He was elected Mukhiya of Usku panchayat of Burmu block, Ranchi district. He was twice party candidate for the Mandar assembly constituency.

Comrade Biman Biswas

COMRADE Biman Biswas, 71, State Committee member of W. Bengal breathed his last at Kolkata Medical College on September 11, 2019.

Since the period of Party's reorganisation, Com. Biman took an exemplary role to organise CPIML when the party was underground in Dhubulia, Chapra, Nakashipara areas. He was revered as a popular peasant leader. When communal riots broke out in 1979, he played a commendable role to organise people against this fratricidal riot and to establish a lasting peace in the entire area.

Comrade Nasir Ahmed!

COMRADE Nasir Ahmed (46 years) who left the Red Star Party and joined CPI(ML) in 2014, had been ailing for the last 4 or 5 months from throat cancer and lung disease. He was being treated at Lucknow SGPGI and King George Medical College. He passed away while undergoing treatment at the Medical College on 9 September 2019.

Red Salute to Comrade Mushtaq Azim!

SENIOR CPI(ML) leader Comrade Mushtaq Azim passed away on 31 August 2019 at the age of 60. He was the younger son of renowned Communist movement leader late Comrade Taqi Rahim. From early childhood, he had been influenced by the Communist movement. He was associated with the Patna City organization for a long period, and had been a leader of the Bata Mazdoor Union. He lived at Harun Nagar in Phulwarisharif with his family.

Comrade Bhuneswar Mistry

President of Motor Kamgaar Union (Bagodar Bus Stand) and CPI(ML) leader Bhuneswar Mistry passed away on the night of 31 July 2019 at RIMS Ranchi. After his death flags were lowered as a mark of respect and grief at the Motor Kamgaar Union office and Mahendra Bhavan in Sariya Road. Motor Kamgaar Union Secretary Yogeshwar Sao said that Comrade Bhuneswar complained of chest pain on 28 July. After initial treatment at Hazaribagh he was admitted to RIMS Ranchi where he died at around 11 pm.

Comrade Anil Singh!

Senior Party leader from Ballia District in Uttar Pradesh and Kisan leader Comrade Anil Singh passed away at 5 am on 6 August 2019. Comrade Anil Singh was beloved by all comrades not only in Uttar Pradesh but across the country. After suffering a paralytic attack in 2005 he had become physically weak and deprived of strength.

Comrade Dina Ji

Comrade Dina Ji (Dinanath Das), age 62, resident of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Jahanabad, passed away at 9 pm on the night of 3 August 2019 at PCMH Patna. He had been ailing for the last 2 years and was suffering from diabetes and severe knee pain.
