THE Delhi--NCR State Committee Held it's 11th State Conference on 15th December 2019. The Hall was named after Com. Mulk Raj who was the first party member from Delhi and passed away last year, the stage was named after Ramprasad Bismil and Ashfaqullah Khan. The meeting started with a minute of silence in remembrance of the comrades who have passed since the last State Conference was held in 2015.

The meeting was inaugurated by Polit Bureau Member Com. Swadesh Bhattacharya. While inaugurating the conference he said, ' The Delhi Party is in the unique position of harnessing the energy of student youth movements as Delhi has become the centre of these movements, in the coming days the Party has to be ready to face even graver challenges that fascism is going to present us.' The delegates elected a 8 member Presidium to conduct the conference.

Com. Ravi Rai the outgoing State Secretary presented the draft document which contained the evaluation of the activities of the Party as well it's strengths and challenges. At present there are 5 elected district committees in Delhi NCR. Many comrades participated in the discussion and highlighted the issues like the CAA and communalism on which mass campaigns have to be initiated. After the reply of the outgoing State Secretary, the delegates present elected a new 27-member State Committee. Com Ravi Rai was re-elected as State Secretary of Delhi-NCR. Polit Bureau Member Com. Dhirendra Jha was the Central Observer for the Conference.

The Conference also passed resolutions in support of students of Jamia and JNU and making the nationwide protest against the CAA on 19th December a huge success. It also passed resolution supporting the All India Strike called by the Trade Unions on 8th January 2020.
