MLA meets Kin of Pune Wall Collapse Victims

LEADER of CPI(ML) Legislative Party Mahboob Alam has expressed deep grief at the death of 12 workers from the Balrampur Assembly Constituency who died at Pune in a wall collapse due to excessive rains, and has demanded that the Bihar government should pay Rs 10 Lakh as compensation to the families of each of the victims and arrangements for full and proper medical treatment and Rs 4 Lakh assistance to be paid immediately to the injured. All the victims belong to Mahisal Panchayat. He said that the CPI(ML) stands with the victims and their families in this grim hour of disaster and grief. He held the governments at the Centre and Bihar responsible for the continuing and long-standing neglect of the Seemanchal region which forces workers to migrate in search of livelihood.
