Comrade Suresh Nayak

CPI(ML) member Suresh Nayak, aged 55, living in village Kanjagi in Ramgarh District, Jharkhand passed away on 18 July 2018. He had his own house at his village Thakur in Budhmu Block, Ranchi. He came to Ramgarh in 1988-89, joined the Party and remained dedicated to the Party all his life. Party activists attended his funeral in large numbers.  A condolence meeting was held where Party activists resolved to emulate his work and dedication, after which he was cremated.

Comrade Taufeeq Khan

The CPI(ML) deeply mourns the untimely loss of Comrade Taufeeq Khan (42) who died of electrocution on 16th August in his village Motha in Arwal, Bihar. He was a member of the Arwal City Committee and was a comrade with many capabilities who was very well respected and loved by the local people.

He is survived by a son and a daughter and his wife. The party’s Bihar Committee stands by his family in this hour of grief and loss.

The CPI(ML) pays respectful tribute to veteran communist leader and former Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee.
Comrade Somnath Chatterjee had been a Central Committee member of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and a ten-term MP from the party.
