How Many Poisonous Liquor Deaths Will it Take to Awaken the Government?

After causing mayhem in Nalanda just a few days ago, poisonous liquor has once again taken a ghastly toll, this time in Saran. Death due to spurious liquor has now become a common phenomenon. How many such deaths will it take to open Nitish Kumar’s eyes and awaken him?

On 19 January 2022 an enquiry team led by CPIML Darauli MLA Satyadev Ram visited both the villages and inquired into the entire whole incident. The enquiry team comprised Satyadev Ram, Ram Kumar Mahto, Brijendra Mishra and Jeevnandan Ram.

Campaign in Bhojpur for Public Health & Hospitals

Under their public health campaign, a CPIML-AISA-RYA team inspected various wards, blood banks, testing centres etc at Sadar Hospital, Ara for 6 consecutive days.

The purpose of this hospital inspection was that the government should increase the basic facilities in government hospitals and increase the health budget so that all the poor can get treatment in government hospitals instead of having to go to private clinics.

Bahadur Singh Jangi Files Nomination from Lalkuan in Uttarakhand

CPIML leader Bahadur Singh Jangi filed his nomination from the Lalkuan Assembly constituency in Uttarakhand on 21 January 2022 as joint candidate of the left parties. Speaking on the occasion, CPIML Uttarakhand Secretary Raja Bahuguna said that the need of the hour for Uttarakhand is to defeat the BJP and build an effective Left opposition because Uttarakhand is also suffering from the destruction inflicted across the country by double-engine BJP governments.

Incident of Gangrape in Rajasthan

An adivasi woman was gangraped in broad daylight at Jhadol Tehsil 60 km from Udaipur District. The AIPWA fact-finding team that visited the spot learned that the victim was walking through a path in the fields to catch a bus from her in-laws' place to go to her parents' house. Just then 3 persons came there on a motorcycle and the driver of the motorcycle left after dropping the other two at the spot. These two persons dragged her to a lonely spot, beat her up, raped her, tore her clothes, snatched away her mobile and throttled her.

Statewide Protests in Uttar Pradesh against Hate Speeches

CPIML organized statewide protests in Uttar Pradesh on 7 January 2022 to demand arrest of the persons who spread communal venom through hate speeches in ‘Dharm Sansads’ and to ban such events that harm democracy, secularism and our Constitution. A memorandum was sent to the President with these demands. The kind of speeches that were made at the so-called Dharm Sansad in Haridwar on 17-19 December 2021 were an open call to spreading hate and communal violence.

CPIML Legislative Party Meeting In Bihar

The CPIML legislative party has started preparing to effectively take on the Nitish government, which that has failed on every front, in the coming budget session. A meeting of the legislative party was held at the residence of Deputy Leader Satyadev Ram on January 3. Legislative party in-charge Rajaram Singh was also present at the meeting along with MLAs legislative party leader Mehboob Alam, Satyadev Ram, whip Arun Singh, Virendra Prasad Gupta, Rambali Singh Yadav, Sandeep Saurabh, Manoj Manzil, Amarjit Kushwaha and Gopal Ravidas.

Andhra Pradesh CPIML Conference

The state conference of Andhra Pradesh was held on 18th and 19th of December on the occasion of Com. Vinod Mishra’s 23rd Martyrdom Day. The conference began with paying tributes to Comrade Vinod Mishra. The conference was inaugurated in an open session by the General Secretary Com Dipankar. The representatives of Left parties greeted the conference.

A 7 member presidium led by Comrade Harinath conducted the conference proceedings.
