CPIML leader and former Uttarakhand State Committee member Comrade Man Singh Pal’s memorial day was observed at the Bindukhatta on 9 March 2020. Comrade Man Singh’s role in Bindukhatta’s historic land struggle and the leading role he played in subsequent people’s struggles were remembered on this occasion.

COMRADE Sukhdeo ji passed away on 9 January at Ranchi. He had been admitted with kidney and other ailments to RIMS Ranchi 4 days ago. He was currently Jharkhand state Standing committee member. Earlier he was a member of the central control commission of CPIML. He had also worked in Bihar for a long time and was Patna town secretary during late 70s and early 80s. He also contributed greatly in building party among railway workers.

THE Central Committee of CPIML joins our comrades from the Lal Nishan Party in paying homage to Comrade D S Deshpande, a revolutionary comrade, freedom fighter and trade union leader of the municipal workers in Pune.

Comrade Deshpande, 93, joined the freedom struggle as a volunteer in the Rashtra Seva Dal and soon joined the revolutionary movement as an activist of the Navjivan Sanghatana. This nucleus transformed into the Lal Nishan Party. He stood up for the revolutionary path and remained a Marxist-Leninist till the end.

CPIML observes 18 December, death anniversary of former General Secretary and leader Comrade Vinod Mishra, as Sankalp Diwas every year. In the light of Modi government disasters like demonetization, GST, and now CAA-NRC and the politics of communal fascism and hate-mongering divisiveness played by the BJP, it is by walking on the path shown by Comrade Vinod Mishra that we can give a befitting and resounding reply to the evil conspiracies of the RSS/BJP.

CPIML pays tribute to Abdul Jabbar, an activist of the movement of the Bhopal Gas victims to hold corporate and government power accountable, who passed away on November 14, 2019, at the age of 62.

CPIML organized a memorial meeting on 29 November in Arwal on the 21st anniversary of the Bathe massacre victims, attended by a large number of villagers and Party leaders and activists. The meeting began with 2 minutes’ silence and floral tribute to the martyrs.

COMRADE Manju Devi was remembered on her 16th martyrdom day on November 10 in Karpi, Jehanabad. Large number of people assembled at the memorial of comrade Manju and paid her floral tributes. After two minutes’ silence in memory of the martyrs the memorial meeting was addressed by CPIML senior leader and district secretary Mahanand, Ravindra Yadav, Mithilesh Yadav and others.

TRIBUTES were paid to CPIML founder-leader Comrade Ramnaresh Ram across Bihar including the CPIML State office on the occasion of his 9th memorial day on 26 October 2019, and the pledge taken to work to fulfill his dreams.

ON 10 October, the CPIML and AICCTU held a memorial meeting at Kanpur for the much-loved trade union leader of Uttar Pradesh, Comrade Hari Singh. Comrade Hari Singh passed away at the age of 80 on 25 September.

CPIML General Secretary Comrade Dipankar, PB member Comrade Ramji Rai and State Secretary Comrade Sudhakar as well as leaders of other Left parties and trade unions addressed the meeting.
