AISA State Conference in Bihar

AISA observed its 13th Foundation Day on 9 August 2019 with a rally in Samastipur after which the open session of its 13th Bihar State conference began at the Law College. After garlanding the Bhagat Singh statue, thousands of activists marched from the Bhagat Singh memorial with flags, banners, placards and slogans through the city and reached Ambedkar memorial where they garlanded the statue of Ambedkar. The rally reached Law College and culminated in the open session of the AISA State conference.

Young India National Coordination Committee Releases Young India Charter for 2019 Election

THE Loksabha Election of 2019 has been declared. The Youth is going to play a crucial role in electing the next government. Thousands of Youth had participated in Young India Adhikar March on 7th February asking the government to respond to the demands by the end of February. But like last five years, no response was received from the government. In this context, the Young India National Coordination Committee held a meeting on 17th February. On 18 February,  a Press Conference was held at Press Club of India by YINCC.

7th RYA Bihar Conference

THE 7th Revolutionary Youth Association Bihar State Conference was held on 23-24 February 2019 at Darbhanga with the call for affordable education and dignified employment for youth. Hundreds of students and youth participated enthusiastically in the conference which was preceded by a motorcycle rally and garlanding of statues of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Dr Ambedkar, people’s poet Nagarjun and Communist leader Comrade Bhogendra Jha.

Protests Against 13-Point Roster

RESPONDING to a joint call by AISA and RYA, 29 January 2019 was observed as Protest Day against the Modi government’s incessant attempts to end reservation for SC/ST/OBC in education and employment. Thousands of students, youth, and AISA-RYA activists protested across the country, calling for acceleration of the struggle against the eviction of the ‘bahujan’ from educational institutions and the increasing attacks on the Constitution.
