Amid Syrian Upheaval, Israel Bays for More Blood

As Syria witnesses a new political situation after the fall of Assad regime, Israel has escalated its aggression, taking advantage of the regional instability to further its militaristic and expansionist agenda. The latest airstrikes and violations of Syrian sovereignty by Israeli forces demonstrate a blatant disregard for international law and human rights, perpetuating a cycle of violence in the region.

Stop Israel's Genocidal Campaign Against Gaza

Following the sudden October 7 attack on Israel by Hamas we are now witnessing nothing short of a genocidal Israeli campaign against Gaza. The combination of relentless carpet-bombing and a total embargo on all essential supplies including food, water, fuel, electricity and medicines is pushing up the death toll every hour. More than 4,000 Palestinians with approximately 3,420 civilians including 1,413 children and 806 women have reportedly been killed in the first twelve days of the Israeli offensive.

Letter of Solidarity with People of Palestine

CPIML General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya, CC member Prabhat Kumar and N Sai Balaji met the Palestinian Ambassador to India H.E. Mr. Adnan Abu Alhaija on 16 October. They handed him over a letter expressing CPIML's solidarity with the people of Palestine and their struggle for liberation. The party conveyed its “deepest solidarity to the people of Palestine, who are currently facing a genocide in Gaza at the hands of the settler colonial apartheid state of Israel.

Sri Lanka: Police Crackdown on Students

The new Sri Lankan government under Ranil Wickremesinghe have unleashed crackdown on student activists of the Inter University Students Federation (IUSF) and other organisations who were agitating against the deteriorating democratic situation in the country. The protest, which was organised on 25th August, witnessed thousands of students and activists marching in the streets of Colombo.
