Comrade Dr. Raj Kumar Sinha, 75, passed away in Purnea on 10 October after a prolonged illness. Popularly known to all as Doctor Saheb he was a long time Purnea district committee member of CPIML. He had joined the Party during 80s in his home district Begusarai, later he shifted to Purnea in 1986 where he opened his Homeopathic Clinic while continuing his regular party activities. His residence was always a ‘home’ to local party activists in various ways and when he was able to build a house of his own that became the party office for nearly a decade.
He was a popular leader in Purnea and helped in expanding party work in the district. He was also the media incharge on behalf of the district committee.
A very sociable and perseverant comrade he remained a committed soldier for the people and the revolution. He is survived by his wife and three sons and a daughter. His passing away is a great loss for the party in Bihar. We salute his legacy and commitment and pledge to carry forward his tasks.
