A Memorial pillar for commemorating the martyrs of the region’s revolutionary peasant movements was constructed in Jangaon district of Telangana by the party. The memorial was inaugurated on 29th of December. Party Leading team secretary of Telangana Com. Rajesh inaugurated the memorial. A Rally took place in Seetharampuram village of Jangaon district before the inauguration. Hundreds of locals and party sympathisers marched in the rally along with Party members and leaders.
A public meeting was followed by the inauguration and the Leading team members of Telangana CPIML liberation addressed the gathering. The leaders have addressed the public by commemorating the martyrs and their sacrifices and stressed on the need for the people's movements in todays autocratic rule of KCR in Telangana and Fascist rule of Modi at the center. They have mentioned the disastrous effects of pro-corporate economic policies mixed with cultural pollution being caused by the rule with communal agenda.
The meeting has drawn good attention of local media and filled enthusiasm in Telangana party cadres and drawn attention of many communist sympathizers of the district and the region around.
The Leading team secretary Com. D Rajesh along with leading members Com. Ramesh Raja, Com. S Bhaskar and other leaders addressed the public in the meeting.
