CPIML MLA in Jharkhand Vinod Singh had raised the issue of non-disbursement of rations in Giridih District for September 2021 in the District Council meeting on 8 December. He had suggested that Block supply officers' salaries be withheld until September 2021 rations are disbursed. The District Council took the decision based on his proposal. All District Council members affiliated to CPIML as well as others had welcomed and supported the proposal.
Villagers Raise Voice against Prevention of Adivasis and Poor from Constructing PM Aawas
Villagers from Baansjor in Bhalkudar Panchayat have mobilized themselves against the prevention of Adivasis and poor dependent on forest land from constructing PM Aawas homes. Led by CPIML, the villagers came together and said that stopping adivasis from constructing PM Aawas houses is absolutely wrong. CPIML has demanded that all Adivasis and needy poor settled on or using forest lands should be identified and they should be given pattas for the land.
Jharkhand Mazdoor Sabha
A membership drive for Jharkhand Mazdoor Sabha and All India Kisan Mahasabha was carried out in Khambhara village, Bagodar Block on 14 December under the leadership of Bagodar MLA Vinod Singh. Along with this, a 'dhan sangrah' (paddy collection) drive was also organized in which the villagers participated enthusiastically in large numbers.
