Taking inspiration from this spirit that embodies the CPIML movement's and Comrade Charu Majumdar's legacy, we can definitely win the battle for democracy in India.

Speaking on the occasion, Brij Bihari Pandey said that Charu Mazumdar in his last message had said that the interest of the people is the interest of the Party, and these words are more relevant than ever in today’s difficult conditions. The Modi government is taking advantage of the Corona pandemic and the Lockdown to push its fascist agenda against democracy and the Constitution, and we must fight against this with all our strength and full unity. State Secretary Kunal saluted the frontline Corona warriors and demanded the unconditional and immediate release of intellectuals and activists arrested and jailed under false cases. He said that people from all sections are coming out in struggles to fight for democratic rights and we support these struggles and pledge solidarity with them.
At a time when many opposition parties are stumbling and bowing down to fascism by either surrendering or joining hands with it, CPIML stands tall in the front line of democratic people’s protests which are our revolutionary heritage. We are proud of our Communist heritage and we pledge to strengthen it with all our energy, dedicated efforts and organizational strength.
