The untimely death of Comrade Fakhre Alam after battling Covid infection is shocking and heart-rending news. He was well known Karmachari Morcha leader in Bihar.
He was already a diabetic and an asthmatic patient. Although this fact was brought to the notice of the authorities, he was transferred to IGIMS Corona Hospital and assigned ‘high risk duty’, where he got infected. This government which has failed miserably to cope with the Corona crisis sacrificed another Corona warrior at the altar of incompetence and cruelty on 27 July 2020. This is nothing short of institutional murder.
Extremely committed and responsible, Comrade Fakhre played a leading role on the workers’ front and was a dedicated member of the CPIML. He never wanted personal publicity and was like a team leader during all Party programs in Patna, working hard while remaining away from the limelight.
The CPIML has lost a very special and dear friend and comrade in the Karmachari Morcha. His loss is irreplaceable. May his family get the strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss.
