COMRADE Hardev Ram of Ghazipur District passed away at the age of 90 on 29 October 2018. Comrade Hardev played a leading role in every struggle for livelihood, equality, and dignity of workers and the poor. He had organized a youth team in his village Kotwa Narayanpur. He gave his team of young people awareness about the Naxalbari revolutionary ideology and challenged feudal oppression and repression. Comrade Hardev always avowed that the people and the Party can never be finished through repression. Hardev went through 6 years of travails in jail in his fight against oppression. Many of his comrades were martyred in these struggles. He and his comrades will remain an eternal source of inspiration to lakhs of farmers and workers.
