The Bihar State Primary Teachers’ Association (Gope Faction) held its first women teachers’ state conference, describing their issues and demands in detail. They exposed the Government of Bihar for failing to ensure Equal Pay For Equal Work; and also opposed the attack on Swami Agnivesh by BJP youth in Jharkhand, and the violence against women and girls in Bihar. AIPWA General Secretary Meena Tiwari was a special guest at the Conference.
