Strongly condemning the incident, perpetrated to vitiate communal harmony, of the vandalization of an under-construction mosque in Nagri and hanging up a dead pig on a rod atop the mosque, CPIML central committee member and Bhojpur Secretary Jawaharlal Singh has said that this is an act done under a well-planned BJP-RSS conspiracy, similar to the conspiracy being hatched across the country including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, MP, Rajasthan etc. to push the country into an atmosphere of communal hatred and violence in the name of Ram Navami, Hanuman Yatra, hijab etc. He said that RSS-BJP want to push Bihar also into the flames of communal riots instead of working for development in education, employment, health and curbing inflation.
Com. Jawaharlal Singh has asked the Bhojpur District administration to immediately arrest the guilty persons and reconstruct the mosque.
Visiting the site of the incident, Agiaon MLA Manoj Manzil said the people of Bhojpur will foil the BJP-RSS conspiracy. This is Bhojpur, with its glorious history of communal harmony and composite culture. He called upon the people to maintain Bhojpur's tradition of peace and harmony. The team that visited the spot along with Manoj Manzil included Charpokhri Block Secretary Mahesh Ji, RYA leader Dhirendra Aryan, CPIML-supported Sarpanch Manoj Sharma, Idan Ali and others.
