students and youth on 1 March

Various mass organizations have planned a number of programs in front of the Vidhan Sabha during the Assembly session:

(a) Rasoiya Association protest on 26 February
(b) Vidhan Sabha gherao by students and youth on 1 March
(c) AIARLA protest on 3 March
(d) Self Help Groups and Jeevika workers protest on 5 March
(e) ASHA workers protest on 16-17 March

A Shiksha Rozgar Yatra is ongoing across Bihar from 8 to 15 February. A student-youth Vidhan Sabha march will also be held on 1 March.

Corruption is at its peak in Bihar today. The huge Corona testing scam has exposed the inhuman character of this government. The government has tried to wash itself clean by making scapegoats of small officials. The question that begs an answer is, why was Mangal Pandey made Health Minister even after he was proven to be tainted and incompetent? He must be removed from his post without delay and a high level probe should be held into the entire matter so that the real culprits do not escape.

Fraudulent practices have also come to light in the entrance exam for constables. Corruption is rampant in the Nal-Jal Yojana as well as other government schemes.

Nitish Kumar makes tall claims of 'good governance' but has again appointed as Minister the corrupt Mewalal Chaudhury who had to be removed earlier from his post due to people's pressure. More than 17 Ministers face serious charges like possessing illegal arms. Clearly, BKP-JDU have put Bihar under the rule of criminals. We demand that such tainted Ministers should be removed immediately. CPIML Bihar Secretaru Kunal has criticized the Nitish government's indifference towards the families of victims from Bihar killed in the recent Uttarakhand disaster.
