An attentive audience appreciated the points made by CPI(ML) CC Member Mohd Salim exposing the Modi Government at the Centre and the BJP-JDU Government in Bihar, and also exposing the fickle nature of certain political formations including the sitting MP from Karakat who had deserted the sinking ship of NDA and was seeking entry into the grand anti-BJP alliance. Kavita Krishnan, Politburo member of the CPI(ML), said that the CPI(ML) had been the most consistent in fighting for the poorest and most oppressed people, in defending democracy, and in resisting the communal fascist forces. Therefore it is the CPI(ML) and not the fickle here-today-gone-tomorrow political formations that can be counted upon to defeat and resist the BJP. Rajaram Singh, Politburo member of CPI(ML) was given a rousing reception by the rally as he spoke about the struggles of farmers and farm workers in the region and in India. RYA leader and CPI(ML) CC member Manoj Manzil spoke of the struggles of the youth of Bihar and India for the right to employment and against the 13-point roster, and the Dalit movement that was taking on the Modi government and Sangh Parivar. Other speakers included CPIML Central Committee member and former Karakat MLA Arun Singh and veteran party leader KD Yadav. The rally was presided over by District Secretary Munarik Ram. CPIML Bihar State Secretary Kunal and Politburo member Amar also attended this rally.
